This Saturday is the big race!! Between now and then you will need to go to the Rock ‘n’ Roll Health & Wellness Expo to pick up your race packet. You must be there to personally pick up your packet, they will not allow a proxy to pick it up for you!!
HEALTH & WELLNESS EXPO – Century Link Field Events Center:
For those of you who would like to meet up with the team in the morning before you head to the corrals, we are going to have a “team meeting area” by the fountain at the Seattle Center. In case you did not know, I personally am not running the race because I am also the Volunteer Coordinator for Rock ‘n’ Roll Seattle and I have to work on race day to coordinate all my volunteers. What I’d love is to have all my Seattle Fitters meet by my volunteer tent before the race so that I can see you before you take off. My volunteer tent will be right off the big fountain at the Seattle Center and will have a big sign above it that says “Volunteer Check-In”. You can feel free to use this tent as a meeting location for friends and family after the race as well. Since the race starts at 7am, please meet at the volunteer tent at 6am so we have time for some group photos!!
Don’t forget!! You are all invited to our Potluck Team Pasta Party the night before the race!! Join us to carb up on pasta and celebrate your successes this season! Family is definitely welcome so please feel free to bring husbands, wives and/or children!!

WHAT WE NEED: A protein item (chicken), veggies, a different pasta, preferred beverages (no alcohol before the race)
ALSO….Just added! Dr. Thompson from Dynamic Chiros will be at the Pasta Party to do K-Tape and Athletic Stretching for anyone in need!!
This Saturday is our final group practice run. We will run 6 miles along the course. Our meeting location will be at Genesee Park and Playfield. Best way to get there is to take I-90 and exit at Rainier Ave South (which is west of the I-90 tunnel and also the along the RnR course). Travel on Rainier Ave South about 2 miles from I-90 and take a LEFT on S. Genesee Street (this will also be part of the RnR route so you will note that there is not a hill like last year). At 43rd Avenue S, you will see a field and parking lot on the RIGHT – Genesee Park and Playfield. We will park there. There are restrooms available.
